International Trade and Regulation of Business

Our trade regulation practice emphasizes all aspects of international trade and business law, including technology transfer, export controls and economic sanctions, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance and internal investigations, import law/customs, trade remedies, foreign investment and market access, as well as general legal advice and strategic counseling for corporations, investors and entrepreneurs on issues relating to international trade.

These laws, regulations and assistance programs are administered by a number of agencies of the U.S. Government including the Departments of Commerce, Justice, Defense, State and Treasury, as well as the International Trade Commission, the Office of the United States Trade Representative, the Trade and Development Agency, and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.
